Charged on the Great Brands
Inmate Peko Lakovski was charged on Thursday with two counts of murder over the deaths of Raymond Splatt and Paul Notas both stabbed at Melbournes Thomas Embling Hospital the previous night. The Melbourne Magistrates Court was told that Lakovski, 49, a patient at the hospital in Fairfield, armed himself with a large kitchen knife and killed his 54-year-old roommate Splatt by stabbing him several times in the upper body.
Lakovski is accused of then going into the next room
